Keeping up with the times is becoming more and more difficult, as time itself seems to move faster and faster everyday. What humans achieved in over 5,000 years of civilization, has been topped in just a hundred years or so. If you don’t believe this, check out history. It speaks for itself.
How to make money seems to be a problem for people in the modern age. So many people have no idea what to do to make money, so building wealth is out of the question as well. Few people ever achieve the best that life has to offer – that is the only thing that hasn’t changed in the 5,000 year-old human civilization.
These people include kings and queens, government officials, village chiefs, great soldiers, skilled artisans, and the like. The easiest way to make money and acquire riches today, however, is not being in any of these careers – in fact, it used to be the talentless man’s occupation in the ancient ages. Now it’s the occupation of the most skilled and richest people in the world. That’s right – being a merchant. A business owner.
Many would argue that building a business is too much of a hassle – indeed, it is the most tiresome and the most demanding occupation you can take on. However, if you will let this get in your way, you will never, ever strike it big. If you really want to make money, you will not let this get in your way.
IF you interview some of the richest men in the world right now, you will find out that two out of three of them had to sacrifice something for what they have right now. But they made the most of all their efforts. Sure, some people sacrifice so much and get so little in return. But what kinds of sacrifices are these people making? Are they productive sacrifices that are to a bigger end? Or just some kind of effort that looks promising but does nothing but promise?
Getting people to believe in their ability to do more than what they are doing right now is the key to producing more leaders, more entrepreneurs, and more caring people, too.
According to Napoleon Hill, the foremost definition of success is PEACE OF MIND. Wealth is a the bottom of the list.
If you are able to secure your family’s future, well and good. But if you contribute to securing the future of the world, that is what I call success.
